Dining In: Peak District Food and Drink Festival

On Sunday we went to the Peak District Food and Drink Festival at Buxton. It was held in "The Dome" with its spectacular domed roof.
There were all manner of food and drink stalls there. There were cup cakes, cake stalls, a sausage making stall, breads, beer, cider, mushrooms of all different kinds, Asian food etc. etc.

We ate a delicious Thai curry and washed it down with a real ale at one of the dining tables and then off we went to watch a demonstration of artisan bread making.?

????? My husband??adores puddings and desserts. The demonstrator before the bread making had almost finished making his dessert when we walked into the demonstration kitchen. "Feel free to come and taste a little if you like" said the chef to the audience who had been watching his demonstration.

First up to taste the puddings

Oh the embarrassment of it!?Peter hadn't even been there to watch the demonstration and yet was first up out of his seat and racing to get himself a taste of that pudding. Completely without shame!?

???? The bread demonstration turned out to be great. But that is for another post.
