For US or non US travelers who keep traveling overseas must go for International Travel Insurance policy plan which covers medical expenses, non refundable flight or hotel expenses, evacuation expenses of a critically injured traveler to his/her home country etc.

Medical benefits for Travel Health Insurance which is applicable for US & Non US limit range from $60,000 to $1 million, evacuation expenses for upto $300,000, pre existing condition expenses limit for maximum of $20,000 applicable for US nationals & $3,000 for non US nationals.

Lets us compare the premium for both the plans. For a US traveler whose age is 25 years, premium for Trip cancellation Insurance plan will be $72 for $2,000 trip expenses and valid for 1 month. The same calculation for Travel Health Insurance plan will be $50.40 for a 25 year old US & non US traveler having a policy sum insured for $60,000.
